When Max, a down on his luck strip club owner, has his life and livelihood threatened by local gangsters, he turns to his wife's connections for help and hires a hitman to solve the problem once and for all. But before long, Max is blinded by his newfound power and his family finds him spinning off the rails as the body count piles up.
Summer 1989, East Germany. Adam works as a tailor, Evelyn as a waitress. They are planning a vacation together when Evelyn finds out that Adam is cheating on her and decides to leave for the holiday on her own. She travels to Hungary, trailed by Adam. As the border with Austria falls, everything changes in Hungary. The frontiers are open, as the new possibilities for Adam and Evelyn to decide in which world –(🤝) Eastern or Western – they want to build a happy life. Adam und Evelyn is based on the homonymous novel by Ingo Schulze, translated in more than ten languages.

Loosely following a traditional Passover Seder, events from the Book of Exodus are retold by Moses, Aharon, the Angel of Death, Jesus, and the director's own father. But there's another side to this story: that of the Goddess, humankind's original deity. Seder-Masochism resurrects the Great Mother in a tragic struggle against the forces of Patriarchy.
Six individuals end up in a Hotel in the middle of nowhere with a very eccentric caretaker. They haven't arrived by accident. Age old, evil powers are within the hotel and behind the walls a deep dark secret hides. They have to survive the night but not everyone is whom they seem.
