Brij Mohan (36), a hosiery shop owner in a busy Delhi market, desperately wants to change his life. He is fed up of his ball-crusher wife and mounting debts. In order to escape his wretched life, he changes his appearance and adopts a new identity as Amar Sethi, but ends up committing a botched up murder. He runs off with his young girlfriend, hopeful of making a new beginning. Instead, as luck would have it, he finds himself trapped in a web of his own Karma.
The full-length feature film "Azor", filmed in Mordovia by enthusiasts Victor Chichaykin and Alexander Uchevatkin, was ready a year ago. Laura Wagner has a promising career as a young auctioneer, but her life looks set to fall apart when she's the victim of a rape. During the slavery period in Brazil, a sugar cane farm was the stage for the darkest kinds of horrors. Years later, the place's cruel past is still stained in its walls, even if unnoticed, until a series of strange events starts happening and death returns to the farm. The film is divided in five short horror stories.
Risking their life, they climb on narrow mountain paths every day, carrying 40 kg of goods on their back. Every mistaken step may chance upon a landmine. They are hunted like wild animals. And in the name of what? To earn just 10 dollars a day!?
