Nothing is ever what it seems in the sleepy English town of Curiosity as over the course of a never-ending weekend we follow various groups of people whose lives are all interconnected without them knowing it. But they all share one thing in common: curiosity kills.
年幼的(🎗)(de )童凡(fán )得(🧙)知自己并非(fē(📶)i )父(fù )母(📴)亲生，他离(📱)(lí )家(🚕)出走一心要找(zhǎ(📪)o )自己的亲生父(🧦)母(mǔ )，养(👓)(yǎng )父母多(🧦)年来一(yī )直(zhí )历尽苦(❗)难寻找(zhǎo )童(tó(💖)ng )凡，看到(🦄)他在(zài )找(🔕)亲生父母的启(qǐ )事后(🚮)顺着地址找到(🛤)(dào )他(tā(👩) )，花钱雇一(🎭)男(nán )子(zǐ )冒充童凡的(🏏)亲(qīn )生父亲，他(⛰)们把(bǎ(🔵) )终生积蓄(🍍)都通过该男(ná(📛)n )子资助(🎏)给了童(tóng )凡(fá(🗳)n )，童凡受(🧗)伤他(tā )们(💘)忍不住来探望(🎦)(wàng )却遭(🐛)童凡唾弃(🤢)，当童(💘)(tóng )凡得知一切真(🕐)(zhēn )相(xiàng )后追悔(🌃)莫及，他(🍃)回到养父(🕙)母身(shēn )边，养母却因他(📥)(tā )去世(shì )，从病(♿)危的养(🐛)(yǎng )父(fù )得(🍳)知，童凡的(de )亲(qīn )生父母(🀄)在他一(yī )岁时(🐙)因救童(📥)凡去(qù )世(🦈)，临终前把童凡(fán )托(tuō(🍩) )福给了养父母(⛓)(mǔ )。
1878年（(🏭)明治11年）(🏆)。在明治维新之(zhī )后，为(🏌)了处理日本国(🎠)(guó )内的(🚂)士族叛乱(💃)(luàn )这(zhè )类犯罪(📒)者，将(jiā(🌫)ng )他们大部(📁)分都(😌)送(sòng )到了监狱里(🐾)，但(dàn )是逃(táo )狱(🕰)事件时(🎂)有发(fā )生(🐊)(shēng )。于(👖)是政府就(jiù )在滋(🚲)贺县的琵琶(pá(🔍) )湖里浮(😎)着的巨树(😳)(shù )中建造了绝对不可(📪)(kě )能(néng )逃狱的(🏵)监狱「(🕢)狱(yù )门处(➡)」，将重(chóng )犯全都送了(🍡)进去(qù )。而负责(🍜)最后阶(📃)段(duàn )护(hù(🕎) )送的「渡桥者(zhě )」一(❤)职则是由湖(hú(🌪) )边「昙(🌏)神社」的(🏰)(de )「昙之三兄弟(🆑)」担任(🛃)(rèn )。福士饰演昙(🦏)(tán )家(jiā )的长男—(🐾)—昙(tán )天火。
