On a remote island off the west coast of Scotland in 1846 a heavy storm hits, causing a ship to sink. Three survivors row through a thick early morning mist, lost and disorientated. The mist begins to clear and The Isle appears before them. They soon discover that it is almost abandoned except for four sole residents: an old harbour man, a farmer, his niece and a young mad woman. Once rested and recovered the sailors are desperate to leave and return to the mainland, but the promised boat never appears. One of them starts to investigate and learns of a tragedy at sea that occurred five years previously causing several young men from the island to perish. When his two shipmates meet with accidents, the myth of a ghostly siren haunting the island leads him to uncover the truth whilst he battles to save his own life.
Separated from his family and caught in a cycle of gambling and debt, Jim has less than a day to repay a violent loan shark. His day is turned upside down when he must look after his young. Jim's relationship with his son is tested as his plans to pay back the loan fail. When his last desperate effort to repay the debt puts his son's life at risk, he must make a choice between his past and a second chance at life.

梅姨是(shì )一个(📶)生活(🤥)(huó )在社会最底层(🔈)的人，为(wé(🛴)i )了生(🛀)计，为(wéi )了抚养儿(🚪)(ér )子(🦖)毅天一直(zhí )做按摩女。漫长(🕯)的岁(💿)(suì )月被毒贩引诱(🚏)染上(⚡)了毒(🥣)(dú )瘾。孟豹是(shì )毅天的(🍋)同(tó(🤴)ng )学，整天游手好闲(🔮)，欺(qī(😠) )负同(🗒)学并收(shōu )取同学的(de )保(🐛)护费(🏦)。小(xiǎo )江是毅天的(🗾)(de )同学也是(💱)(shì )从(cóng )小一起长(zhǎng )大(📤)的好(🔥)兄弟(dì )，由于不肯(🥚)(kěn )给交保(🏚)护(hù )费被孟豹欺负。闻(🥘)讯赶(💍)(gǎn )来的毅天为(wé(🎚)i )了救小江(😯)(jiāng )把(😣)老妈刚给的两百(🌚)块钱(🌼)(qián )给了孟豹(bào )，孟豹收了(le )钱(🔋)却又(🛅)侮辱(rǔ )了毅天母(🦓)亲(qī(🐇)n )，毅天(🛥)气(qì )不过把孟豹一顿(⚫)臭打(🕺)。毒枭老黑正(zhèng )好(🌌)路过，救下(🧐)了孟豹。毅天孟豹(bào )从(💕)此结(🐢)下梁(liáng )子。孟豹(bà(🍢)o )跟了毒枭(📚)老(lǎo )黑后，一直(zhí )给瘾(💼)君子(🌋)(zǐ )送(sòng )货，其中(zhō(🤼)ng )就有毅天(👃)的(de )母亲梅姨。故事究竟(🍨)(jìng )会(🐬)向什么方向发展(😭)？让(ràng )我(🐤)们拭(😪)目以(yǐ )待。
